Mark Harrington
Mark Harrington has been with Newsday since 1999, covering the East End for most of that time. His work has included the good and not-so-good years at local wineries, the bounties and challenges faced by East-End farmers and fishermen, and the particular cultures of the North and South Forks of Long Island. He also covers the energy beat. Harrington previously co-wrote a technology column for the business section and has covered corporate crime, high-tech and security. Before joining Newsday, Mark was editor of CMP Media's Computer Retail Week. He was born in Queens and grew up in Bay Shore and Islip.
