Danny Donohue, the president of the state Civil Service Employees Association, who has Long Island roots, announced he won a new term without opposition. He's seen as a future contender for the top spot at the union's parent organization, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, possibly at some point against AFSCME secretary-treasurer Lee Saunders.
