Community Affairs Mission...

Newsday is dedicated to serving the public's interest through our reporting as well as our responsible engagement in the community. The mission of Community Affairs is to be visible, accessible and responsive to our constituents -- readers, advertisers and the community at large. We do that every day through a number of engaging community initiatives.
