I am one of two reporters, along with Patrick Whittle, covering the Town of Hempstead. I also report on the villages of Hempstead, Freeport, Garden City, Malverne, Valley Stream and others. My goal is to report stories that interest residents in the town, while being informative, fair, accurate and balanced. The Sewanhaka Central High School District will hold a bond referendum Wednesday on a plan to spend nearly $100 million to upgrade seven aging school buildings and several sporting fields.
