Rangers sign sniper Gaborik to five-year deal
A day after the Rangers created some salary-cap space by trading Scott Gomez and his $51.5-million contract to Montreal, general manager Glen Sather used the money to land the legitimate sniper that the offensively challenged team desperately needed: Marian Gaborik.
