Arthur Henry Howe Jr. (born December 15, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a former infielder, coach, scout and manager in Major League Baseball. He is an alumnus of the University of Wyoming. He served as manager of three clubs: the Houston Astros (1989-1993), Oakland Athletics (1996-2002), and New York Mets (2003-2004), compiling a career record of 1,129 wins against 1,137 defeats (.498).
