Geert Wilders (IPA: ['ʝe:ʁt 'wɪldəʁs] ['ɣe:ʁt 'ʋɪldəʁs]; born 6 September 1963) is a Dutch politician. He has been a member of the Dutch Parliament since 1998, first for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy and from 2006 on the Party for Freedom, a party which he founded and of which he is the political leader.
