Indian Minister for Civil Aviation, Ajit Singh gestures as he addresses a press conference in New Delhi on May 14, 2013. Singh confirmed that the first commercial flight of an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner after the installation of new batteries will be on the New Delhi to Kolkata route on May 15. Singh said that all six of Air India's Dreamliner planes will be ready for operation by the end of this month with the airline seeking to puchase more aircraft by the end of 2013 in line with plans to expand route networks.
