US President BIll Clinton (2nd-R) answers questions from reporters 17 December before the start of a meeting with his foreign policy team including National Security Advisor Sandy Berger(L), Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Defense Secretary William Cohen(C) and Vice President Al Gore(R)at the White House in Washington, DC. After the 16 December militray strike on Iraq, Clinton warned Iraqi President Saddam Hussein against threatening his neighbors. Clinton also indicated his determination to complete the operations that continued 17 December with renewed bombing of Iraqi sites suspected of housing parts to manufacture weapons of mass destruction.
