Eve Arnold, a US photographer who took famous pictures of Marilyn Monroe among other renowned figures and was a pioneering member of the Magnum photo agency died on January 5 at the age of 99. Arnold was the first female photographer to become a full member of the storied Magnum agency in 1957. Her pictures of figures such as Monroe, Malcolm X and Marlene Dietrich were famous.
