Dining spots along Maryland's Eastern Shore

PARK ACCESS. The National Park Service has launched a branch of its Web site for visitors with disabilities and other special needs to help them find accessible trails and activities, nps.gov/pub-aff

BELIZE CAUTION. The U.S. Embassy in Belmopan, Belize, warned U.S. travelers to "take an active role in their own personal security" because of increased violent crime in the central and western areas. San Ignacio, Benque Viejo and rural villages in the Cayo District are particularly troubled.

PHILIPPINES. The U.S. Embassy in Manila warned against travel to Mindanao after a series of bombings in May and July. The warning speculated these actions may suggest a planned escalation of attacks on commercial centers and public gathering places.
