Conrad Gowan of Jamesport dies after suffering 'sharp force injury,' police say

Suffolk County police are investigating the death of a Jamesport man after officers discovered him in his home Monday with what they called a “sharp force injury.”
Riverhead Town police responded to a 911 call at a Herricks Lane house, located on the same property of North Fork Nursery, at 11:43 p.m.
When officers arrived they found Conrad Gowan, 36, in his home.
Gowan was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
