Centenarian: Mary Moore of Wantagh

MARY MOORE was born March 26, 1924, in Throgs Neck, the Bronx. She met her husband, Lt. Col. George E. Moore II, and they were married in 1948. They settled in Wantagh in 1950, where they raised their five children (one deceased). Mary worked at Chemical Bank. She loves vacations, so she vacationed often. She was widowed in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday at home with family.
