6th S.D.: Maher to seek ballot spot

Patricia Maher, Democratic civic activist from East Meadow, says she will seek the nomination for the 6th Senate District  currently represented by Kemp Hannon (R-Garden City). The party organization's pick for the slot as of last week is Ryan Cronin, thus setting up a potential primary on Sept. 13th for the nomination.
