WASHINGTON — In a story published April 26, 2024, The Associated Press reported that a memorandum of understanding is required between campaigns and the General Services Administration that governs everything in presidential transitions from the provision of federal office space to access to sensitive documents by Sept. 1. The story should have made clear that access to sensitive information is addressed in a separate memorandum of understanding with the same Sept. 1 deadline.
