Meaghan Doherty, Stony Brook School, 5-7, G, Sr.

The Roberts Wesleyan commit averaged 21.1 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals for the PSAA champions. She was especially dangerous from beyond the arc, knocking down 73 3-pointers at a 46% rate to lead Stony Brook to a 22-3 season and its most wins in program history, according to coach Kevin Foley.

Payton Dulin, Baldwin, 5-9, G, Jr.

She averaged 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals per game for a Baldwin team that reached the Nassau Class AAA final. She was also a strong defender, and had some of the best dribbling skills on Long Island.

Kayla Gilmore, Floyd, 5-11, G, Sr.

The three-sport athlete was one of the toughest defenders on Long Island. She consistently defended the opposing team’s top guard, often holding them below their scoring average. Gilmore, who is committed to play lacrosse at Maryland, averaged 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 4.5 steals per game. The five-year varsity player graduates as Floyd’s all-time leader in points (1,367), assists (295) and steals (530), according to coach Rich Sinclair.

Emma Heaney, Plainview-Old Bethpage, 6-1, F, Jr.

She averaged 21.2 points, 12 rebounds, 4.3 blocks and three steals per game as one of the best players on the court both offensively and defensively on a nightly basis. The athletic forward was a strong dribbler for her size with the ability to play inside and outside the paint. Heaney scored at least 30 points in three games this season, including 33 points against East Meadow, the Long Island Class AA champions.

Annie Kiernan, Sacred Heart, 6-0, F, Sr.

Her size and shooting ability created matchup nightmares all season for opposing teams. Kiernan, who is committed to play at Bentley University, averaged 12.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, making 37 three-pointers for the CHSAA champions. She had 20 points in the state CHSAA ‘A’ final in a 57-48 loss to St. Mary’s (Lancaster).

Briana Neary, Massapequa, 5-9, G, Sr.

She averaged 18.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.6 steals per game for Massapequa. The three-sport athlete is committed to play soccer at Siena College and that athleticism translates on the hardwood to make her one of the toughest defenders on Long Island with great handling and a strong outside shot.

Ellie Pamatat, Garden City, 5-8, G, Sr.

She averaged 18.2 points, eight rebounds and five steals per game as one of the top all-around players on Long Island. Pamatat showcased the combination of size and skill to guard nearly any position on the floor in an 18-3 season for Garden City.

Diamond Pertillar, Patchogue-Medford, 5-10, G/F, Sr.

She averaged 21.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 1.8 blocks per game. Her position versatility and size made Pertillar one of the toughest players to game plan against on Long Island. She had 27 points against Northport in a 55-51 loss in the Suffolk Class AAA quarterfinals.

Emma Poland, East Rockaway, 6-0, F/C, Sr.

Poland was one of the most imposing players in the paint this season, averaging 19.6 points, 13.3 rebounds and 5.4 blocks per game. Poland, one of the best defensive players in the area, had 15 double-doubles this season, including 17 points, 14 rebounds and 13 blocks in a 42-31 win over Oyster Bay in the Nassau Class B semifinals. The Molloy commit had averaged 25 points over two games against Nassau Class AAA schools and had 33 points and 12 rebounds against Mattituck, the Suffolk Class B champions.

Kennedy Radziul, Northport, 5-9, F/G, Sr.

She averaged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Radziul, who is committed to play lacrosse at Delaware, was one of the toughest defenders on Long Island with the ability to guard nearly any position on the floor. She added 4.2 steals per game.

Emma Ryan, St. John the Baptist, 5-9, F, Sr.

She averaged 22.5 points and five rebounds per game. Ryan was one of the most efficient shooters on Long Island, converting at 62% on the floor and 88% from the foul line. She is committed to play at Elmira College.

Lauryn Swann, Long Island Lutheran, 5-6, G, Sr.

The Arizona commit averaged 12.4 points and 2.3 assists per game as one of the floor generals for the Crusaders this season. She had 28 points and seven steals against Brooklyn Law & Tech on the day she announced her college commitment. Swann is especially dangerous from beyond the arc.

Sofia Vasselman, Commack, 5-7, G, Jr.

The playmaking guard averaged 16.2 points and 4.8 assists per game in a 22-1 season for Commack. Vasselman had seven games with at least 20 points, including scoring 20 against Whitman in the Suffolk Class AAA final.
