Nicole Amoruso, St. Anthony’s, Jr.

Amoruso finished sixth at the NSCHSAA tournament, shooting an 87.

Lara Cohen, Roslyn, Eighth grade

Cohen finished eighth at the Nassau championship with a 159 and represented Section 8 at the state championship, finishing 48th.

Sophia Corso, Smithtown East, Jr.

Corso finished third at the county tournament last year with a 164.

Renna Chang, Jericho, Jr.

Chang finished fourth at the state championship when she shot a 3-over 75 on both days. She also shot a 5-under 66 on the second day of the Nassau championship to finish second (138).

Madison Chen, Manhasset, Soph.

Newsday’s 2023 Player of the Year captured the Nassau individual championship crown with a two-round score of 6-under 136, a county record. Chen also finished third at the Federation tournament with a 3-over 73.

Audrey Chen, Wheatley, Jr.

Chen finished seventh at the Nassau championship with a 157 and tied for 20th at the state championship.

Lydia Choi, Roslyn, Fr.

Choi finished 12th (163) at the county championship with rounds of 79 and 84 at Bethpage Green.

Ava Estrella, Friends Academy, Soph.

Estrella finished fifth at the Nassau championship with a 151 and was tied for 18th at the state championship.

Vanessa Fieschel, Sachem, Jr.

Fieschel finished ninth in at the Suffolk championship last season.

Emma Giaquinto, St. Anthony’s, Sr.

Giaquinto finished fifth at the NSCHSAA tournament, shooting an 86.

Ella Girard, Ward Melville, Soph.

Girard finished fifth in the county and was the Suffolk champion as an eighth-grader. She finished 12th at the state championship last June.

Lia Huang, Great Neck District, Soph.

Huang finished third (142) at the Nassau championship and was seventh at the Federation tournament with a 5-over 75. She also finished tied for ninth (155) at the state championship.

Bridget LaRosa, Kellenberg, Jr.

The All-Long Island selection won the CHSAA individual state title with a 6-over 78 at Eisenhower White. She finished third at the NSCHSAA tournament with an 8-over par 80.

Grace London, St. Anthony’s, Sr.

London finished second at the NSCHSAA tournament with a 6-over par 78 and second at the CHSAA state tournament with a 7-over par 79.

Ali Palwasha, Glenn, Jr.

Palwasha, a member of the boys team, finished sixth with a 165 at the county championship.

Elie Poremba, Southampton, Eighth grade

Poremba captured the Suffolk individual crown when she shot 157 at Middle Island Country Club. The All-Long Island selection also shot a 87 on both days of the state championship to finish 37th.

Catherine Slade, Kellenberg, Sr.

The defending NSCHSAA individual champion shot a 5-over par 77 at Eisenhower Blue to capture the title.

Caroline Stanzione, Half Hollow Hills West, Sr.

The six-year starter and two-year captain has a 50-0 career record. She placed seventh at the county championship

Suri Sun, Jericho, Soph.

Sun finished tied for ninth (161) at the Nassau championship.

Caylin Wong, Great Neck District, So.

Wong shot a 2-over 73 at Bethpage Green to help Great Neck District win its fourth consecutive county championship. The All-Long Island selection also finished tied for 20th (164) at the state championship.
