Zach Winter threw a no-hitter with one walk and eight strikeouts on 91 pitches in a 1-0 victory for Commack over Lindenhurst in Suffolk League II baseball on Tuesday.

Evan Kay scored the game’s lone run in the top of the fourth inning on a groundout by Max Horowitz for Commack (7-0). Matt Curto struck out 10 hitters for Lindenhurst (2-2).

Hauppauge 10, East Islip 7: Michael Oliveto hit a walk-off grand slam to right-centerfield with one out in the seventh inning for Hauppauge (7-0) in Suffolk V. He went 3-for-5 with five RBIs. Hauppauge rallied after trailing 7-2 in the sixth inning. Ryan Schofield hit a two-run homer, Matt Neglia went 3-for-4 and John Margolies scored three runs.

Wheatley 5, East Rockaway 0: Connor Quinn tossed a one-hitter with one walk and 13 strikeouts to lead Wheatley (4-0) in Nassau B.

Wantagh 3, Lynbrook 0: Jack Tate struck out 15 batters in 6 1⁄3 innings to lead Wantagh (4-0) in Nassau A-I.

SOFTBALL

St. Anthony’s 10, St. John the Baptist 0: Mila Fiordalisi struck out 12 in a four-inning no-hitter to lead St. Anthony’s (4-0) in CHSAA as coach Mike Massa earned his 500th career win.

Calhoun 4, Mepham 3: Gianna Nicastro hit a first-pitch walk-off, three-run home run in the seventh inning for Calhoun (5-1) in Nassau I. Johanna Esposito had eight strikeouts and allowed two earned runs in a complete game.

East Rockaway 14, Great Neck North 0: Sofia Ramirez pitched a no-hitter across five innings for East Rockaway (6-1), striking out 11 batters while also going 2-for-2 with four RBIs in Nassau V.

Syosset 13, Island Trees 12: David Disque had a goal and six assists and Nick Turner and Gio Accardo each had three goals for Syosset (2-3) in non-league. Owen Acevedo won 15 faceoffs and had 10 ground balls. Kian McCoy had six goals and AJ Saragossi had 19 saves for Island Trees (1-2).

Oyster Bay 6, Portledge 5: Chris Lingen scored with 1:33 left in the second overtime period for Oyster Bay (3-2) in non-league.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Sayville 5, Eastport-South Manor 4: Sophia Buffardi scored the winning goal with three minutes left in the fourth quarter to break a tie at 4 for Sayville (7-0) in Suffolk II. She also scored to tie the score at 4 earlier in the quarter and finished with two goals. Julia Lilienthal made five saves.

Whitman 11, Patchogue-Medford 10: Kathleen O’Mara had five goals, including the winning goal with 49 seconds left to break a tie at 10 for Whitman (3-4) in Suffolk II. Isabella Fiorelli added four goals. Addison Ruland had three goals and two assists and Olivia Liddell had three goals and an assist for Patchogue-Medford (2-3).

Cold Spring Harbor 13, Long Beach 12: Amelia Bentley scored the winning goal with 2:04 left in overtime for Cold Spring Harbor (6-0) in Nassau I. Bentley finished with three goals and two assists and Jenna Kessler added three goals. Ryan Reynolds had two goals and two assists.

Patchogue-Medford 21, Whitman 0: Isabelle DeNeve, Ana Impellizzeri and Angelina McGrath each had interceptions for Patchogue-Medford (4-1) in Suffolk I. Tamiya Williamson-Fraser had a sack for a safety. Madison Brown had two touchdown runs and Mackenzie Hughes threw a touchdown pass to Diamond Pertillar.

Syosset 7, Herricks 0: Ivy Matthews ripped off a 70-yard run in the first half to lead Syosset (5-0).
