Capital Idea regressed in last after breaking maiden by more than eight lengths in prior outing; right in the thick of this.
THIRD: Conniving should find today's additional quarter mile right in his wheelhouse. Allegrini could play out as the main speed; very dangerous. Cool Operator makes first start with maiden-claiming tag; don't ignore.
FOURTH: Clancy Fancy is rested and could get the early jump with aggressive handling. Barron's Bounce could be the prime beneficiary if pace meltdown ensues. Z Dancer owns fast numbers on best efforts.
