Sen. Charles Schumer was in Great Neck on Monday morning pushing legislation to create 250,000 summer jobs for those under the age of 25.  The bill is expected to be voted on  later this week, he said.

Schumer, above right, was joined by Charles Berman, the receiver of taxes for North Hempstead, Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck),  and Jon Kaiman, North Hempstead town supervisor.
