Lil Wayne ‘doing fine’ after hospital visit, daughter says
“Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Reginae Carter, daughter of Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne, says her father is fine after being hospitalized Sunday following a seizure.
“My dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concerns . . . you guys are amazing,” she tweeted on Monday.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Lil Wayne, 34, born Dwayne Carter but who has since dropped the “D” in his first name, had been taken from Chicago’s Dana Hotel and Spa to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
“He was alert and oriented,” Fire Department Commander Curtis Hudson told the paper Monday. “He has a history of seizures.”
Lil Wayne has not commented on social media.
His scheduled performance Sunday night at Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub in Las Vegas was canceled.
