So far, these teasers aren't revealing anything we haven't seen before: big fight-scenes and thundering sound effects interspersed with one-liners from Robert Downey Jr. In previous clips, Tom Hiddleston as Loki seems like a bright spot, exuding a doomy, gothy quality that might impress even Ralph Fiennes. Although "The Avengers" is shaping up as the summer's most anticipated film, according to the online ticket seller Fandango, let's hope it can deliver when it arrives in theaters May 4.
