Britney Spears? Everybody knows, she's a “Femme Fatale.”

Maybe that's why she's picked “Femme Fatale” as the name of her seventh album, which features her No. 1 hit “Hold It Against Me.”

“I've poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years,” Spears Tweeted this morning. “I've put everything I have into it.”

In a statement, Spears calls “Femme Fatale,” her “best album to date” and says it's a tribute to “bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men.”

There's no release date for the album, which is executive produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke, though it is expected next month, along with the Jonas Akerlund-directed video for “Hold It Against Me.”
