Dead & Company to play two Citi Field shows in July

While the Mets are in Chicago playing the Cubs, Dead & Company will take over Citi Field on July 15 and 16 for its annual summer jam in Flushing, Queens. This two-night stand marks the conclusion of the group’s monthlong tour.
The band consists of Grateful Dead alumni Mickey Hart (percussion), Bill Kreutzmann (drums) and Bob Weir (singer/guitarist) along with singer-songwriter John Mayer on vocals and guitar plus bassist Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers) and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (RatDog). This will be their seventh tour since forming in 2015.

Tickets go on sale April 8 at 10 a.m. at deadandcompany.com. A presale will be held starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. running through Thursday at 10 p.m. However, fans must register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program, now through Sunday at 3 p.m. via verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/deadandcompany2022, for the presale.
