Ever wonder what happened to the character David Brent from the original version of “The Office”?

Well, the documentary crew caught up with him 10 years later, and he's a musician-manager now. Of course.

“I'm managing acts as well now, like a local Simon Cowell -- better really,” Brent says. “'Cause I'm an artist myself, I can literally pass on musical wisdom, whilst making money from them.”

Brent teams up with rapper Dom Johnson for a new song “Equality Street,” which he funds, as well as the accompanying video.

“It's like Tinie Tempah recording a track with Piers Morgan,” says the producer, adding later. “Horrendous.”

(The 10-minute documentary, starring Brent  (Ricky Gervais) aired on BBC1 this weekend as part of Comic Relief.)
