Glen Head college student Samaera Hirsch and her CGI persona Misty Rose continue to kick avatar on Fox's "Alter Ego," in which CGI avatars perform in place of the real-life singers voicing them.

On the first night of semifinals Wednesday, the 21-year-old contestant received a standing ovation from the judges for her powerful rendition of the eight-times multiplatinum Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj single "Bang Bang" — while dancing on roller skates.

Hirsch continues on to the finale, with Dasharra Bridges aka Queen Dynamite and Matthew Lord aka Wolfgang Champagne being eliminated, and Israa Darwich aka Night Journey also proceeding to the finale. The second and last semifinal match, with four other competitors, is scheduled to air Dec. 1.
