Maria Bartiromo is leaving CNBC next week after 20 years at the channel, Newsday's Verne Gay reports. Brooklyn native Bartiromo, 46, who joined CNBC in 1993 after five years at CNN, became one of TV's first reporters to cover the New York Stock Exchange directly from the floor, during the go-go 1990s. She may be headed to the Fox Business Network, according to the Drudge Report.
