Sullivan's Quay in Port Washington sends out shepherd's pie made with ground sirloin and vegetables, under a mashed-potato crust; fish-and-chips made with beer-battered cod; grilled shell steak with Irish whiskey sauce. Molly Malone's in Bay Shore is a long-standing spot for pub fare and more. The pan-seared tilapia St. Patrick has a ginger glaze. The Irish egg roll includes corned beef. Cavanaugh's is a restaurant and pub in Blue Point. Fittingly, it opened on St. Patrick's Day -- in 1986. The eatery's shepherd's pie is made with ground beef, vegetables, broiled mashed potatoes and brown gravy.
