There will be no shortage of corned beef and cabbage on Long Island in the coming days. But Irish-themed restaurants do offer more than the St. Patrick's Day mainstay. Here are four establishments that keep green -- and not only on March 17.

Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip is the upscale member of this quartet. It's a pretty place with very good service. Menu highlights include cream of potato soup, beef-barley soup, prime rib, roast loin of pork and rice pudding. Chicken Gaelic sports Irish whiskey-brown sauce. 131 Carleton Ave., East Islip; 631-277-0007, irishcoffeepub.com

Sullivan's Quay in Port Washington sends out shepherd's pie made with ground sirloin and vegetables, under a mashed-potato crust; fish-and-chips made with beer-battered cod; grilled shell steak with Irish whiskey sauce. Stepdancing entertainment on Sunday and beyond. 541 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington; 516-883-3122, sullivansquay.com

Molly Malone's in Bay Shore is a long-standing spot for pub fare and more. The pan-seared tilapia St. Patrick has a ginger glaze. The Irish egg roll includes corned beef. Fried sea scallops, prime rib and potato-leek soup are among the choices. 124 Maple Ave., Bay Shore; 631-969-2232, mollymalonesbayshore.com

Cavanaugh's is a restaurant and pub in Blue Point. Fittingly, it opened on St. Patrick's Day -- in 1986. The eatery's shepherd's pie is made with ground beef, vegetables, broiled mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Steak with sauteed bacon, onions and Irish-whiskey sauce, prime rib, burgers, sandwiches available, too, and there's Guinness Stout on tap. 255 Blue Point Ave., Blue Point; 631-363-2666, cavanaughsbluepoint.com
