The swastikas were discovered Monday morning in a Maple Avenue parking garage by the owner of the building. Police said they were painted sometime between March 25 at about 4:30 p.m. and Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Swastikas were found on a sidewalk in Cedarhurst earlier this month, police said. Carlos Rivera, 17, of Lawrence, was charged with aggravated harassment in connection with drawing swastikas with chalk outside of two homes on Oxford Road, police said.

According to police, it has not yet been determined whether the incidents are related.
