Dr. David J. Weissberg of Cold Spring Harbor was honored last month at the Long Island Arthritis Foundation's 2012 Walk for his dedication and service to the organization. Weissberg, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is founder of Long Island Orthopedic Solutions in Huntington Station and medical director of the Concussion and Sports Related Head Injury Center. He has also served as team physician for the football teams at Huntington, Northport and Walt Whitman high schools and is a member of the New York State Orthopaedic Society and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
