Edmund M. Dane of Woodbury was honored last month at the eighth annual Halloween Party to Protect Children, coordinated by the Hempstead-based EAC Network, in recognition of his dedication and service to the community. Dane serves as the Nassau County Family Court supervising judge, as well as acting Supreme Court justice. He is also a special professor at Hofstra University School of Law and serves on the New York State Family Court Advisory Committee and the New York State Committee on Standards & Goals.
