Four accidents - one on the Long Island Expressway and three on the Southern State - snarled traffic Friday morning. One on the Southern State Parkway westbound, by exits 32 and 33, another by exits 17-18, and one on the LIE near exit 18 westbound were resolved by 8:13 p.m. Police also responded to another accident near exit 32 westbound on Southern State Parkway that involved several vehicles.
The weekend looks to be dry and sunny with normal temperatures - a high of 55 to 60 degrees.
