Despite the quality of acts it has booked over the years, New Jersey's Bamboozle has long been known for being the festival with the worst location in America.

Instead of the scenic California desert setting of Coachella, Bamboozle has recently made its home in the parking lot of the Meadowlands.

This year, Bamboozle is getting the setting it deserves while staying true to its Garden State roots, offering more than 100 acts over three days on the beach at Asbury Park, where the festival began in 2003. The headliners are Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and breakout electronic music star Skrillex.

Here's a look at some of the other acts we think people will be talking about.

My Chemical Romance
This Belleville, N.J., group headlined two previous Bamboozle festivals with its mix of emo, punk and goth-rock. The band is known for expansive concept albums, including its latest, "Danger Days," a sci-fi focused effort that takes place in 2019.

The Gaslight Anthem
Lead singer Brian Fallon was born on the Jersey Shore, not far from the famous "E Street" that gave Bruce Springsteen's band its name. With the Gaslight Anthem, Fallon adds punk energy to Springsteen's hard-luck tales.

Mac Miller
Miller was described as the "new Eminem" by none other than Donald Trump, after he released a single entitled - what else - "Donald Trump." Now a star in his own right, Miller will perform with Wiz Khalifa this summer on one of the season's hottest hip-hop tours.

Andrew Dice Clay
Clay may be one of the few among the notoriously young festival crowd to remember Bon Jovi's original heyday. The foul-mouthed comedian who had his greatest success in the 1980s and '90s is continuing a comeback that saw him appear on "The Celebrity Apprentice" and "Entourage."

This Good Robot
The winner of this year's Break Contest, Long Island indie-rock band This Good Robot beat out more than 900 other groups to win a slot on the Bamboozle main stage.

If you go: The Bamboozle Festival runs tomorrow through Sunday at North Beach in Asbury Park, N.J. Single day tickets, $65-$75; 3-day passes, $190; thebamboozle.com
