The Giants are heading back to Albany for training camp this summer after a one-year absence due to the lockout. They released the schedule today and all of the practices (which are free and open to the public) are scheduled to take place at 1 p.m.

Of course, weather and other scheduling concerns can tweak that so always check the team’s website before heading out.

As for the dates, camp practices will run from July 27 (the day after the players report) to Aug. 14 (the day before the team heads back to the Timex Performance Center) with only a few days standing out as exceptions. Here is the schedule:

Tues., July 31: 1 p.m.
Wed., Aug. 1: 1 p.m.

Fri., Aug. 3: 1 p.m.
Sat., Aug. 4: 1 p.m.
Sun., Aug. 5: No Practice
Mon., Aug. 6: 1 p.m.
Tues., Aug. 7: 1 p.m.
Wed., Aug. 8: 1 p.m.
Thurs., Aug. 9: No Practice
Fri., Aug. 10: at Jacksonville, 7:30 p.m.
Sat., Aug. 11: No Practice
Sun., Aug. 12: 1 p.m.
Mon., Aug. 13: 1 p.m.
Tues., Aug. 14: 1 p.m.
Wed., Aug. 15: No Practice – Break Camp

That’s 14 practices over 19 days with a trip to Jacksonville thrown into the middle of it.
