Tina Cervasio, the former longtime Knicks reporter for MSG Network, among many other reporting jobs, has been named Fox 5 New York’s lead sports anchor/reporter as well as the host of its Sunday night sports show, “Sports Xtra.”

Cervasio will become the first woman to serve as permanent host of “Sports Xtra,” which has been on the air for nearly a half-century.

Tina Cervasio, the former longtime Knicks reporter for MSG Network, among many other reporting jobs, has been named Fox 5 New York’s lead sports anchor/reporter as well as the host of its Sunday night sports show, “Sports Xtra.”

Cervasio will become the first woman to serve as permanent host of “Sports Xtra,” which has been on the air for nearly a half-century.

Duke Castiglione had hosted the show before leaving late last year. In the show’s early years, it featured Bill Mazer alongside co-hosts who included Lee Leonard and John Dockery.
