Police are investigating the theft of 50 aluminum hurdles from Uniondale High School.

The hurdles, with gold lettering stating "First Place" on one side and "Uniondale High School" on the other, were last seen March 5 in a locked shed at the school, 933 Goodrich St., Nassau County police said Monday in a news release.

Police are investigating the theft of 50 aluminum hurdles from Uniondale High School.

The hurdles, with gold lettering stating "First Place" on one side and "Uniondale High School" on the other, were last seen March 5 in a locked shed at the school, 933 Goodrich St., Nassau County police said Monday in a news release.

School officials said the theft occurred sometime between March 5 and 4 p.m. March 19, according to the release.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is urged anonymously to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
