The driver of a small sport utility vehicle was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow after a crash with a U.S. Postal Service tractor-trailer on Conklin Avenue in Farmingdale early Wednesday, police and fire officials said.

The identity of the woman was not released. Her condition was not known.

The driver of a small sport utility vehicle was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow after a crash with a U.S. Postal Service tractor-trailer on Conklin Avenue in Farmingdale early Wednesday, police and fire officials said.

The identity of the woman was not released. Her condition was not known.

Nassau County police said the crash occurred at the intersection of Conklin and Main Street at 12:39 a.m.

The woman was pinned in the vehicle, a Geo Tracker, and had to be extricated by firefighters from the Farmingdale Fire Department and police Emergency Services officers.

The driver of the Postal Service truck was not injured, according to officials.
