Cops on Friday found a missing Brooklyn man dead in the trunk of a car parked in Oceanside, Nassau police said.

The man, identified as Daniel Scialom, 32, had apparently been shot to death and left in the car, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata parked on Academy Street off Long Beach Road, authorities said.

Scialom had been reported missing earlier in the week in New York City, police said.

Det. Sgt. Gregg Lesmeister of the police homicide squad said officers had opened the trunk Friday afternoon because there was blood on the front passenger seat. A Fourth Precinct cop had been called to the scene initially to investigate a possibly stolen vehicle. Lesmeister declined to say how police knew to check on the car in the first place.

There are no suspects, Lesmeister said.

The slain man was not the registered owner of the car.
