A 23-year-old telemarketer from Levittown did more than make sales calls from the residential home in Hicksville where she was employed.

Nassau County police said Nicole Hamm, of 20 Knoll Lane, also stole about $10,000 in cash and jewelry Monday from the home-office where she worked on Picture Lane.

Hamm was arrested Thursday and arraigned Friday on second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. She was given a conditional release to probation.

Police said that Hamm, while working as a telemarketer out of the Hicksville residence, entered a bedroom and removed cash and jewelry from a dresser drawer. Police said Second Squad detectives recovered several pieces of that jewelry at a gold-buying place on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
