A homeless man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing packages that were delivered to a West Babylon home and left on the door step, Suffolk County police said.

Christopher Breitkopf, 38, was arrested in West Babylon at 6:45 p.m. and charged with petit larceny. A homeowner's surveillance camera, which captured the image of a man walking up to the front door and removing two packages, helped police identify Breitkopf. The homeowner contacted police, who released the pictures to the media.
