Driver critical after school bus collision

One person was critically injured and four others, including three high school students, sustained lesser injuries Wednesday, when a car collided with a school minibus in Melville, police said.
Khaja Antesham, 24, of 75 Irving Ave., Deer Park, was taken by Melville Fire Department ambulance to Huntington Hospital in critical condition with a broken neck, pelvis and head injuries, Suffolk police said.

Caroline Masten, 60, of Northport, who was driving the minibus owned by Huntington Coach of Huntington Station, sustained nonlife-threatening injuries to her neck and chest, police said.
The three passengers in the minibus, students at St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, suffered minor injuries.
Second Squad Det. Sgt. Richard Auspaker, said, "Speed may have been a factor by the car's driver, Antesham."
Antesham was driving a 2010 Honda eastbound on Wolf Hill Road about 2:45 p.m., police said, when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve by Saxon Avenue and struck the 2001 GMC minibus, which was traveling westbound.
