Last year’s auction of Mastic Beach Village Hall, vehicles and other property raised more than $1 million to help pay off the disbanded village’s debt.

Buffalo-based Auctions International, which conducted the online auction last fall, said it had completed sales of village property at the end of December. Among the property sold were heavy equipment, landscaping tools, lawnmowers, trucks, real estate and office equipment, the company said in a news release.

The village dissolved Dec. 31 after residents voted in 2016 to disband.

Proceeds from the sales will be held in an escrow account to pay off village debt, Auctions International said.
