Driver swerves to avoid animal, hits Selden home, police say
Suffolk County police said a driver lost control of his vehicle early Friday and crashed into a home on Continental Drive in Selden.
Images from the scene showed the front end of a pickup truck crumpled against the corner of the home.

Occupants of the home were not injured, police said, and the driver was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for minor injuries.
Police said the accident occurred at 2:11 a.m., when the driver swerved to avoid an animal on Continental Drive, just to the west of Old Town Road.
