The body of a man found near Captree State Park Wednesday, not far from where a car was abandoned, has been considered a suicide case, State Police said.

State Police spokesman Trooper Frank Bandiero said a jogger called 911 at 8:13 a.m., reporting the body in or near the water about 100 yards east of the inlet span of the Robert Moses Causeway Bridge.

State Park Police immediately responded to the scene and were joined by State Police.
