State Police arrested two drivers for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Suffolk County in the early morning hours Saturday.

State troopers stopped and charged Kathryn Lambert, 21, of Commack at about 1 a.m. on the Southern State Parkway west of Carleton Avenue after she tried to drive around police cars that had shut down the road, police said.

State Troopers had closed off the road at 12:21 a.m. when a tractor trailer struck an overpass at Manhattan Boulevard in Islip. Trucks are not allowed on the parkway, and the truck driver was ticketed, police said. The road reopened three hours later. The overpass was not damaged.

In a separate incident, state troopers charged Douglas Vigliotti, 48, of Deer Park, with DWI after he was stopped on the Sagtikos State Parkway in Islip.
