Suffolk police are investigating a Wyandanch shooting that left a Deer Park man injured Sunday morning.

Jermaine Pressley, 38, was shot in the leg during "an altercation with an unknown man," police said in a statement. The incident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. at the corner of Jamaica Avenue and South 20th Street, police said.

Pressley was admitted to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he arrived in stable condition, police said.
