Alyssa Brogan of Saint Dominic’s High School is the May Scholar Artist for undefinedSuffolk County

Alyssa Brogan is ranked sixth in her class at Saint Dominic’s High School and received many accolades for her academic accomplishments.  She is a member of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, and the Spanish Honor Society.  She has completed many hours serving her community and is recognized as a leader in her school.

Alyssa trains in classical ballet six days a week at the Lynch School of Ballet in Huntington.  She has performed leading roles in many of the Lynch Ballet Company’s productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote and Coppelia.  Alyssa has won the silver medal in the Long Island Ballet competition each year since 2009. She attended Goffrey Ballet’s summer program on scholarship and attended the New York State Summer School of the Arts.  Alyssa plans to pursue dance after graduation.
