April showers will be the story over the next several days. Before that, Long Island will enjoy one more dry day on Friday.

Sunshine in the morning will start to become diluted in the afternoon. High clouds will move in before skies fully cloud over by Friday evening. This will set up for the next chance of rain for Saturday.

High temperatures will be much cooler than they were on Thursday, struggling to hit 50 degrees. Winds will be light out of the north at 5 to 10 mph in the morning, shifting to the southeast by the afternoon.

Temperatures will rebound into the weekend with highs back near 60 degrees, despite the return of wet weather.

Saturday looks like a soaker, starting Saturday morning and lasting for a good portion of the day. Right now, Easter Sunday looks to be mainly cloudy, with a slight chance of a few showers.

Happy Earth Day!
