ALBANY — Fourth-seeded Sean Carter of North Babylon lost 3-0 to No. 2 Jimmy Ryan of Farrell in the state Division I 120-pound wrestling final on Saturday night at the Times Union Center.

Carter earned a 3-2 decision in an ultimate tiebreaker over top-seeded Jayden Scott of Rush Henrietta in the semifinals earlier on Saturday to advance to the final. Carter escaped with 12 seconds left in the ultimate tiebraker.
