Amazon, Northwell Health and the water park Splish Splash are among dozens of Long Island employers looking to fill openings at a series of upcoming job fairs hosted by the Suffolk County’s Labor Department beginning this week.

The first of three job fairs will be held Wednesday, May 4, at the Sachem Public Library in Holbrook, 150 Holbrook Rd. The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon, requires advanced online registration.

Employers scheduled to attend include Stony Brook University, DiCarlo Food, Sun River Health and NY Project Hope, among many others.

The following Tuesday, May 10, the county and the West Islip Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a job fair from 2 to 4 p.m. at the West Islip Fire Department, 309 Union Blvd.

The Town of Islip, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bright Bay Electric, and the West Islip School District are among nearly two dozen businesses looking to hire. Register online for the job fair at bit.ly/3Kzr4jV.

Rounding out the county’s slate of events for early May, the Suffolk Labor Department will be hosting a hiring event Thursday, May 12, at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library, located at 407 William Floyd Pkwy. in Shirley.

Online registration is required and can be found by visiting bit.ly/3vXBwwu. The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to noon and expected employers include Suffolk Transportation, Renewal by Andersen, Amazon and Frank Lowe Rubber & Gasket.
